Vision of the Magdelēnas kvartāls

In July of this year, we submitted to the Rīga City Construction Board our extensive and much cherished project – the detailed plan for the development of Magdelēnas kvartāls' territory.

Our situation is unique for Riga as we have a significant area within the city and we dare to develop it to create a quarter for extraordinary added value living. The documents reflect our developmental concept in terms of ensuring that the territory is unified and harmonic for living, working and relaxation. A place that people love to visit and wish to return to, again and again.

When developing these plans, we examined the territory’s historical development, the structure and quality of local buildings, the cultural and historical value of the buildings, visual influence, the development of social infrastructure and the local transportation flows.  We particularly observed the rules that relate to Magdelēnas kvartāls location being a part of the UNESCO list of global cultural and natural heritage.

The buildings in Magdelēnas kvartāls will be divided up into separate blocks, with different numbers of floors and different functions for the various buildings. The residential zone with its private and green gardens will therefore be visually separated from the public zone, which will be open and available to all of the quarter’s residents and their guests.

Two large pedestrian streets will link Antonijas, E. Melngaiļa and Strēlnieku streets, and at the centre of the block there will be a square for recreation, meetings with friends for a cup of coffee or a nice outdoor lunch under the sun. This will be the heart of the Magdelēnas kvartāls.

Duration of the storage

We will store the data for the time necessary for the purposes listed under “Usage of your information (purposes of the data processing)”, but no longer than 5 years. After the data is no longer needed for such purposes, it will be destroyed.
